I couldn't wait to find out how this story wrapped up and I was not disappointed! The ending was not predictable and had interesting twists until the very end. Like any great story it also left some "what if's?" unanswered, just begging for a continuation or spin-off story line(s). This series is unlike many other cookie-cutter vampire books that are basically stereotypical romance novels that just happen to have vampires. This series has serious historical accuracy and and is like a peek behind the curtain, always making you question if it is a fantasy novel or an actual documentary! I hope the "Blood Royal" series continues on! Every book and excellent read!
