5+ STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a breath of fresh air! This is the book I've been waiting for to get me out of my slump. Not to mention the way the book started was true genius.

The writing was beautiful and enticing. The imagery was breathtaking and inspiring. I found myself wanting to visit Montana and see the big blue sky, go to a small town with hot cowboys and wear hot pink cowgirl boots. There was character development, there was set up for a great story, there was emotions and characters I enjoyed, but most importantly there was actually a story! So many books lately are centered around the erotic sex scenes that I'm honestly kind of getting tired of. I want a good story. I want to like the characters and not want to put the book down because of the story not because of the sex scenes. Don't get me wrong, this book definitely had some steamy scenes but they were a way to add to the story not the focus of the story itself.

Charlie was a very likable character, and probably one of my top heroines. She was hurting and she definitely needed to work through some things in her life but she had a good heart and a good head on her shoulders and she kept trying. She never gave up. Seeing her grow and mature throughout the book and seeing what a genuinely amazing woman she was made this story as wonderful as it was for me.

There were also many relationships in this book. Many relationships between Charlie and someone else but some of these relationships were between other characters in the book that didn't include Charlie. It's amazing to see how different relationships in our lives affect us and affect those around us and this book really took real life into account, which I enjoy immensely.

Overall I'm beyond blown away with this author and again have been reminded of why I enjoy reading so much.
