It is a universal assumption that death binds you to some sort of permanent residency in Heaven or Hell. What if there was a lot more to dying than simply passing on to a place of light or darkness? What if the soul is simply bound to some other place, forced to watch from a silent distance as the world carries on without them? What if someone from that bound place was watching you and felt that you have done something very wrong? What if one of these bound souls find their way out of their prison in eternity and takes vengeance into their own dead hands? After Frankie Kolas goes missing and his sister Alison is hospitalized without any natural reason for her condition, Officer Bo Dickson and Adriana Clark investigate some old tales to find out what happened. Elaine Fowler has visited both Adriana and Bo at separate times. As they find a larger wake of death and destruction at the hands of the somewhat dead, they begin to question the myths and legends that have thrived in their almost peaceful town. Adriana and Bo must face unreal and surreal problems as they attempt to track down Frankie and the information they need to stop lost souls from entering the real world. Is there anyone she can trust with the information she has? Is there a way to stop these lost souls before they take or kill anyone they view as a threat?
