Robert is an Operating Department Practitioner working in the NHS. He has returned to Hampton Hill hospital after fourteen years and things have changed. The new theatre manager promotes herself as forward thinking, but she hides a dark secret. The staff have to deal with the cost savings imposed by the government and new and dangerous pathogens which bring about a complete change in clinical practice.
