Tina Collins' using Equine Photography as Mental Health Therapy is the perfect little handbook for anyone wishing to find an alternate therapy for mental health. It is filled with great tips on how to get started on your Equine Photography journey as well as explaining how it will be beneficial to your mental health. As a reader who doesn't really know much about horses, I feel a bit curious to learn more about them after reading this book and feel like I have a better understanding of how I would approach taking photographs of them in future. As a fellow photographer I feel that the photography tips given in this book will be very helpful to those who are looking to take up Equine Photography as a hobby or any photography for that matter.
Overall, I loved the underlining idea of this book and how Collins wishes to share their experience in the hope of helping someone else who may stumble upon this book, any art form is a form of therapy and I hope that I can hear more about equine photography as a mental health therapy in the future. I love reading a book when the author is passionate about the subject and this is a perfect example of that.
