Wilde World
J Igarashi, author
Ten year old Leo Wilde lives in two different worlds, and things are going wrong in both. In one realm, he's Commander Wilde, leading troops against the vicious Carthians. But things begin to crumble when he starts losing control of his soldiers. Meanwhile, in the 'real world', Leo's frustrations mount as he is just a powerless kid who is bullied and bossed around. As the war-torn country of Albion inches closer to disaster, Leo stumbles across a clue. Perhaps actions in one realm can affect outcomes in the other. But will his discovery come too late to save the kingdom? This (roughly) 120 page, fast-moving novel will appeal to all, but particularly to the reluctant reader

- Hans Bluedorn, Author, The Fallacy Detective, The Thinking Toolbox, Archer and Zowie
Wilde World is a satisfyingly fast-paced little novel.
Think of it as "Master and Commander" meets "Slaughterhouse-Five". But for kids.
I look forward to future novels from Jen Igarashi.

 - Leslie Nunnery, Founder, Teach Them Diligently: Through the power of a good story, Jenefer Igarashi shares a valuable truth. Young and old alike can benefit from learning the same life lesson Leo Wilde learns in this charming tale.

- Linda Lacour Hobar, Author of The Mystery of History
Being a children's historian, I love time travel books for kids! This one uses brilliant adjectives, and a relatable boy, to entice young readers, teach a moral lesson, andwarm the soul.

- Dr. Sandi Queen, ND  From the very first pages, I was drawn into this Narnia-esque tale of Leo who, through his adventures as a leader in the realm of Albion, learns how to handle the trials of life and develop self control and patience.  This sweet and adventurous tale will speak to the hearts of children, helping them to see how controlling their own actions can help them through life.  Highly recommended, especially if you have a child who struggles in these areas!

-Lea Ann Garfias, Tyndale author:  This action-packed book uniquely deals with preteen issues of identity and self-control. Through a compelling use of reality and fantasy, the story draws young readers into critical thinking on behavior, consequences, and choices. My daughter devoured it, saying she was sorry when the story ended!

-- Jennifer Pepito, Founder, The Peaceful Press:  Embark on an exciting journey through the pages of this gripping boys' adventure story, where courage is forged, and growth into manhood unfolds. Filled with narrow escapes and thrilling challenges, featuring a "through the wardrobe" narrative this tale is a testament to the transformative power of bravery and resilience. A hopeful story for heartfelt families.

- Cindy Breninger, Woman's World Contributor: What a fun, exciting book! I could not put it down.

-Selah Weihrich, 8th Grade Student: This is a well-written book that captures a reader's attention early. It teaches a good lesson: to lead by example.

- Justice Preston, 12 Year Old Student: "I loved this book. I like the way Leo travels between two different realms"

- Jake W, High School Student: This book is an exciting mix of fantasy and good morals.  It teaches and entertains the reader with an interesting story line and a good life lesson.

- Dr. Shane Medlin, Principal, Willard Central Elementary: Often, the best leaders are those who are willing to learn and who are curious to see the possibilities of what could be. Good leaders also have a heart to serve others to make things better for those around them. Leadership does not have an age or height requirement. Kids see a problem or a hurt in the world and want to fix it; they are open to wonder and not locked in their ways of thinking. Leadership is an opportunity that kids can embrace, and a skill easily cultivated in them.

- Author William E Jefferson, Owner of Storybook Barn: The heart of the story echoes the author's heart, so very true of the story brought to life in Wilde World.

 - Megan Acuncias RN BSN Five Star Review: A delicious book written comfortably; a siren song embracing the reader to ponder their own realities of time, space and essence
