**Have you read "Dragon Heat (Book 1)" yet? The Dragon Heat Series is best enjoyed when read in order.**
Writing your first novel isn’t as hard as writing a sequel. Sequels are risky; they could go either way, sometimes accepted wholeheartedly by the fans and at other times, not so much. Only a few authors have such command over their writing that they end up penning down a better story than the first one and Ella J. Phoenixis one of those people who top that list. Presenting a paranormal romance at its best, Wolf Hunger is not one to be missed out on!
The story is about Yara and Rafe, 2 very different species who, upon meeting, develop feelings for each other. As the news of the stolen bullets surfaces, Yara, along with her very trusted companion fighter is given the task to recover them. But it is not the only problem she is faced with. A very strange illness has been befallen her kingdom’s leader and she needs to find out in order to stop it from taking her life before it’s too late. However, in order to do so, she has to go to a place she sworn never to revisit: her hometown.
On the other hand, we are introduced to Rafe, a dashingly handsome lone wolf who spends most of his nights the fighting ring to make a few bucks. When given the job to kill the Vampire’s king as a pardon for his debts, he didn’t even blink before saying yes; if only he hadn’t met Yara, the very sexy shifter-witch on his way who ruined all his plans. Now, he can’t seem to get her out of his head and be done with the task at hand.
Their battle continues until they realize that what they truly feel for each other is not hate but intensifying love; and when they do, it is difficult for them to stay away from each other.
Will they be able to keep their egos aside and let love win for once?
A steamy tale of 2 lovebirds, this one in the series is one not to be missed. Readers will find that even though the characters in the previous parts have no significant role to play, the author still doesn’t let them die. They are all still there, very much alive, fighting their own battles without taking the spotlight from the lead couple. A representation of a great piece of work only a few authors are able to get a hand on. The descriptive portrayal of steamy and intimate scenes will leave the readers biting their lips and their imaginations running wild. All in all, if we were to describe the story in three words, we would say its brilliant, imaginative and error-free writing.
