WHAT IS THE BOOKLIFE SERVICES DIRECTORY?
The BookLife Services Directory is a categorized listing of people and companies who provide services to authors. The Services Directory lists service providers in 10 categories that range from manuscript help to marketing a completed book and everything in between.
WHAT ARE OPTIONS FOR LISTING MYSELF OR MY COMPANY IN THE BOOKLIFE SERVICES DIRECTORY?
By going to BookLife.com and clicking “Register” in the upper right hand corner, you can create a free listing for yourself or your company to appear in as many applicable categories as you indicate. Within each category’s list of service providers, you can make yourself stand out by upgrading to an Enhanced or Featured Listing.
INTO HOW MANY CATEGORIES CAN I PLACE MY LISTING?
Your listing can be placed in as many categories as are applicable.
WHAT DOES IT COST TO UPGRADE TO A FEATURED OR ENHANCED LISTING?
For both Featured and Enhanced Listings, the more categories you list in, the more savings you’ll get. The price breakdown for each is as follows:
Enhanced Listing: Enhancing your listing in a single category costs $5 per month. Enhancing your listing in two or more categories costs just $3 per category, per month.
Featured Listing: Placement as a Featured Listing costs $25 per month for a single category; Featured Listings in two categories is just $20 per category, per month; Featured Listings in three or more categories is just $15 per category, per month.
HOW DO I GET TOP PLACEMENT AS A FEATURED LISTING?
Featured Listings appear in a first come, first listed basis and keep their placement for the life of the listing. The sooner you make your listing a Featured Listing, the closer to the top it will appear. As long as you keep renewing your Featured Listing, you’ll continue to hold onto your prime location.
HOW DO I RENEW MY FEATURED OR ENHANCED LISTING?
Your Featured or Enhanced Listing will continue to be renewed automatically on a month-to-month basis. Your credit card will be charged the same day each month, and that date will denote the beginning/end of your Billing Cycle. Should you make any changes to the number of categories for which your Featured or Enhanced Listing should appear during a billing cycle, you will be charged or refunded a pro-rated amount based on how many days remain in your billing cycle.
For example, if you remove a category from your listing with 12 days left in your billing cycle, you will automatically be refunded the cost the of the remaining 12 days.
If you add a category with 16 days left in your billing cycle, you will automatically be charged for 16 days worth of placement.
Upon the beginning of your next billing cycle, you will be charged the full amount to reflect the changes you’ve made.
Note that if you remove a Featured Listing, you will lose your placement in the Featured Listings for that particular category, even if you decide to have a Featured Listing in the same category in the future.

WHY DO I SEE TWO DIFFERENT CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT?
Your credit card will show separate charges for Featured Listings and Enhanced Listings. Both Featured and Enhanced Listings will have separate billing cycles as well.
HOW DO I CHANGE THE CREDIT CARD ATTACHED TO MY ACCOUNT?
Click on the “Add/Edit Services” link on your profile to get to your Services page. Once there, click the blue button that says “Update Services.” From there, scroll down to the Billing Information heading and you will see the option to update your credit card information.
HOW DO I REMOVE MY LISTING FROM THE SERVICES DIRECTORY?
You can control what categories your listing appears in by logging into your account, clicking the link to feature yourself in the BookLife Services Directory. To remove yourself from any or all categories, simply click the circle for no enhancements. Your listing will be removed immediately.
