Anand Ahuja is a cardiologist with a love for literature. Born amidst a family of writers, Ahuja's creative aspirations soon took flight and he dreamt of landing his first deal with a publication house. Enthusiastic and imaginative, Ahuja took to writing at a young age but his life was not without its struggles.
His father had moved to India during the Partition after his family was tragically killed during the communal riots. Despite the many adversities that life had thrown at him, Ahuja remains cheerful and holds an optimistic outlook towards life – a trait that is commonly reflected in his poetry and his fictional creations. Describing himself as a ‘hopeless romantic’, Ahuja's passion towards crafting his prose also translates into his reality as he lives for the surprises and small moments of joy that life throws at him. His childhood affection for reading and literature pushed him towards crafting his own stories. Having authored an anthology of short stories ‘A Story to Tell’ and a poetry collection ‘Dusty Memories Unfinished’, Ahuja hopes to release two more of his short story collections in the future.
Currently residing with his parents, Ahuja also takes a keen interest in learning new languages and exploring new places in hopes of taking inspiration and broadening his outlook towards life.
