As a lifelong fan of so-bad-it's-good movies, Charles was shocked on becoming a father to discover the number of so-bad-it's-bad children's books. Finally able to put his B.A. in Communications to some use, he began crafting his own stories, intent on entertaining both grown-ups and kids, without talking down to either. The result of countless critical reviews from his family, and untold cups of coffee, Claire vs The Flying Saucers is Charles' first published book. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two kids, dog, and coffee pot. Charles spends much of his free time watching movies and offering his unsolicited opinion.
