Charles Rushing escaped secular graduate school to take employments as a research biologist for the USDA. He was a young and dedicated atheist who discovered that non-belief could not answer the major questions of existence for all life on planet earth. He was invited to study the Bible by a brilliant Christian mathematician he admired. At age 27 he became a believer in Christianity. Charles entered seminary to understand the original biblical languages, church history and theology. He expected to spend his life in academia but was called to church planting and evangelistic ministry. With his wife Diana, they have spent the last 40+ years in pastoral, teaching and missionary ministries. Charles and Diana retired out of the Tibetan Plateau region of China when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. He now spends his time writing and Bible teaching. Charles and his wife Diana have three children, eight grandchildren and one great grand child.
