Children’s singer/songwriter, musician, author, poet, storyteller and performer… Darrell House wears a lot of hats. He has a magnetic personality and is a powerful performer. Having resided in South Florida for more than 40 years, he is often described as Grizzly Adams meets Key West. Darrell has presented in hundreds of schools and libraries, where many have called him “The best author visit we ever had.” He is also a regular presenter, nationwide, at Reading Festivals and Early Childhood Education Conferences.
Miller the Green Caterpillar & 2012 Royal Palm Literary Award winner, The King of Fish, his illustrated children’s books, are inspirational stories of setting goals. His newest book, Bennie & Bonnie, his first early reader, chapter book is currently a finalist for the 2015 RPLA.
