The first half of George Schwimmer's life ended when his son David was lost at sea while on a kayaking course in the Sea of Cortez. David was three days shy of his nineteenth birthday. George was three weeks shy of his forty-seventh birthday.

From the night he received the phone call telling him of David's death, he has been on a spiritual and metaphysical journey that he never anticipated traveling. Prior to that he had been a theatre director and college professor over a thirty year period. Then he was trained in Reiki healing, chakra healing, psychic readings, past-life therapy, spirit releasement therapy, and finally as a modern shaman, moving from Raleigh to New York City, then to Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and ultimately to Santa Fe, New Mexico.

During that time he worked on his first book, THE SEARCH FOR DAVID, then edited David's writing, DAVID: leaves from the journal of a soul, followed by the eBook SHAMAN'S PATH: Becoming A Modern Shaman, the story of his extraordinary training to become a shaman. He has published twenty Kindle eBooks on Amazon.com on such diverse topics as past-life therapy, spirit releasement, the lost of continent of Mu, and other metaphysical subjects. The most popular of his eBooks have been HOW TO REGRESS YOURSELF TO YOUR PAST LIVES, MU: THE FIRST GREAT CONTINENT, ROBERT MONROE’S ALTERED STATES, SHAMAN’S PATH, PAST LIVES OF STAR PEOPLE, THE SEARCH FOR DAVID.

He has understood for the past thirty-five years that he was being asked by spirit to have metaphysical experiences and then write about them, so that others could become aware of and knowledgeable about metaphysical matters that science has mostly refused to even look at. The rest of his life is devoted to continuing these explorations and writing about them.

With the introduction of eBooks, he now has the platform to bring his experiences immediately and directly to everyone who is searching as he has searched.

He recently completed the stage play CAYCE, about the mystic psychic Edgar Cayce, which will be produced in Los Angeles in the fall of 2015. He has written several screenplays with metaphysical elements, most recently completed WOUNDED, about an earthbound spirit directing the life of a man abused as a child. In a departure from his usual interests, his latest book, THE TRUTH BEHIND THE LEGEND OF LEE HARVEY OSWALD: CIA AGENT & PATSY, will be published on Amazon Kindle on June 3. This will demonstrate that there were TWO "Lee Harvey Oswalds", one of whom shot the president, while the other - born in Hungary - was outside watching. Some very interesting new material is in this book.
