Author-illustrator Jennifer Aldoretta is a passionate creative who is committed to fostering empathy, connection, and self-love. She has adored drawing for as long as she can remember, and her grandfather, who was a prolific artist, taught her drawing fundamentals as a child. She's been a gifted writer since she could hold a pen, and Dr. Seuss is a long-time inspiration in her writing. (As a young child, a new teacher once thought Jennifer's parents had completed a writing assignment for her because the writing was "too good" for a child...the teacher later apologized after seeing Jennifer's in-class writing assignments.)
