Jina S. Bazzar is a Palestinian author, born and raised in Brazil. Soon after graduating high school, she developed a chronic disease that caused gradual vision loss, becoming blind in her early twenties. Jina’s always enjoyed reading, though unlike most authors, she never aspired to become one. Years after going blind, she learned about accessibility software for the blind, and discovered that reading alone was no longer enough, so she started writing the stories she wanted to read. Currently, she lives in Palestine with her family and children.
