I am a former bookstore owner and a retired counsellor. I have lived in Florida since I was twelve.  I have travelled through the East Asia and the U.S., including Arizona. The setting for this novel is South Phoenix. I like reading, nature, plant-based cooking, and hiking. I have two sons, four busy grandchildren, and a husband who creates divine salads.
