Kaye has been writing all her life and was first published at the age of ten, when her poem, “The Garden,” was printed in her small-town newspaper. During her school years, her poems and short stories were published in her high school paper and she continued to write during college, marriage, children and careers.  But other than the obligatory term papers, corporate proposals and grant requests, that writing consisted mostly of poems from her heart.

Years later, when she visited an ancient cemetery in the lowlands of Georgia, one of the spirits there reached out to her and her award-winning novel, THE CONSORT CONSPIRACY, was born. It was first published and released in July 2017 and re-released in August 2019. Her second novel, ON DEADLY GROUNDS, which takes place in North Carolina, just twenty-two miles east of Asheville, was released in May 2020 and her third novel, THE ROAD REMEMBERED, a World War II epic, will be released in mid-2021,  

Kaye lives in St. Augustine and loves—in addition to her husband of twenty years, her two grown children and four grandchildren—Christmas, cartoons, circuses, carousels, and chocolate.
