Kevin is a poet and a philosopher at heart. Author of ‘Monsoon Diaries’, He curates the website, Koiora, where he and his wife’s poetry are shared with the world. He studied Mechanical Engineering and spent a part of his working life designing engines for Ford. He has always been involved in blue sky engineering, with his latest spell at a start-up; Dearman where he leads a team that have designed an engine that runs on liquid nitrogen. Kevin co-founded social enterprise: buypure.org. The organisation supported women’s groups and other social improvement projects in India. This project was as a result of his travels and experiences and formed part of the journey of his book 'Monsoon Diaries'. It was a journey which was meant to last be less year but lasted 6 years. Kevin is a fellow of the RSA (Royal Society of Arts and Commerce) through his work with buypure.org – the subject of the epilogue of his book.
