A memoir of an African who travelled through India following the death of his mother. The journey of one life that set forth in search of freedom and found the deepest freedom even amongst those whose ignorance lashed out; born from deep set ideas about skin colour and nationality. Paradoxically, in this land, the brightest of lights came to be felt through some mystical experiences. A light which compelled him to change direction on his return, turning to confront the juggernaut of the status quo; by walking away from life as an car designer to do something about the pain in this world.
