Kimberly Jayne writes romantic comedy. She has been making up stories since she was five, when she scribbled on the lined yellow pages of her grandfather's office notepads her first tall tale about pigs flying. Yes, she started that shtick. You're welcome. Since then, she's written just about everything and for various websites and clients, including humor features for Playgirl Magazine. She was also a cast member of Ann Imig's 2011 Listen to Your Mother Show in Austin, Texas.
You can find Kimberly blogging about The Writer's Life on ReadKimberly.com and on her usually irreverent but always entertaining sister blog, FragrantLiar.com, where she prattles candidly about life as a reluctant midlifer in these modern times.
Her feelings about writing can be summed up in a favorite quote from Robert Heinlein who quipped, "Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of, but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards." Her thoughts may not always be clean, but her hands are.
