Assessment:
Romance comes in many forms -- not just the frenzied excitement of a new relationship. Even old relationships, especially the ones we thought had fizzled out, can have a spark. Slightly madcap, suddenly sweet, this novel combines the best of female friendship with soulful exploration of passion in its many forms. Of particular note are the themes of getting lost to find the right path and acceptance of even the most difficult things in life. The dialog-heavy, elegant writing style pulls readers into a world that is difficult to leave.

FIVE STARS! Take My Husband Please! is not a formulaic love story in the slightest. Beneath the laugh-out-loud humor is the daily, ongoing struggle of real people coming to terms with their failed marriage, and gradually figuring out how to pick up the pieces. A delightfully quirky yet all-too-human cast of supporting characters rounds out this genre-busting tragi-sexy-drama-comedy. Highly recommended!
FIVE STARS! Take My Husband, Please by Kimberly Jayne was a wonderful romance and a complete delight to read. The circumstances that Sophie gets herself into were hilarious. She had me in stitches throughout the whole book. I nearly fell out of my chair when she lost her bikini bottoms while wave boarding. I could sense the love/hate emotions between Sophie and Will as they struggled to maintain their choice of separation. The characters and their foibles were so real and normal that they were easily related to and quite entertaining. I really enjoyed this book and I recommend it to anyone who likes a good combination of comedy and romance.
FIVE STARS! Sometimes a reader simply wants to be entertained; this book is a fun and humorous read that will lighten up the day. Author Kimberly Jayne is a skilled and savvy writer as she describes the antics of Sophie and Will Camden in Take My Husband, Please. Sophie and Will may become the modern-day (romantic and sexy) version of Lucy and Ricky! Ms. Jayne’s writing is fast-paced, witty and unexpected; there are numerous twists and turns in her plot, making it difficult to put the book down. The story is simply provocative and hilarious. The best part is this: the story ended in such a way that a sequel may be in the works.
Five Stars. A laugh-out-loud romantic comedy. Will and Sophie are wonderfully flawed characters who find themselves in one absurd situation after another that'll have you in stitches. In addition, the quirky supporting cast really brings this novel to life, and the author was able to throw in several hilarious and suspenseful twists and turns. Hopefully Kimberly Jayne intends to continue Will and Sophie's story because readers will want to know what happens next.
