Krista (Nicole) Esse is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Arizona. She received a BA in visual communications with a minor in fine art from Northern Arizona University in 2018 and currently works as a graphic designer. 

Krista’s art is focused on her favorite natural beauties: girls, plants, and cats. Her work often includes “imperfect” linework as she works with pen and embraces small mistakes in her art to give it true authenticity. By combining hand drawn images with digital editing, she is able to merge graphic design and illustration to define her style. She has self published 2 books that she wrote and illustrated.
