Raised in Bowie, Maryland, Mark Reefe moved his homestead to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley some years back, where he lives with his lovely wife, two boys, one dog, and the sweetest mother-in-law. His fondness for the urban legends of his old stomping grounds spurred him to write Spindle Lane and The Ghosts of Glenn Dale. These darkly nostalgic stories feature teenage friends exploring many of Bowie’s spookiest places and encountering some of their more infamous residents.
