I was born in upstate New York, and attended NYU for theater and liberal arts.
After 14 years in NYC, I left it -- and acting -- for Boston, MA. There I began writing; short stories, fan fiction, novellas, essays. Eventually I met my husband, Christopher. At the age of 40 I had our son, and we and our cats eventually moved out to western Massachusetts. Here we garden, do a lot of DIY, life-school our now teenage (!!) son, and take a lot of trips to Boston -- because Boston is cool and we kind of miss it (go Sox!).
Along with the books listed here I also have tween novel nearing completion. It is my answer to girls looking for their "Harry Potter" (with a little "Alice in Wonderland" and "Phantom Tollbooth" thrown in.).
