I am a lawyer and formerly taught English at high school. I am married (my wife is my first-read editor) and have three great kids, all of whom have now flown the coop but haven't forgotten where they can get a good meal. I am on the cusp of full retirement so I can devote myself to writing full time. I have had numerous short fiction pieces in national publications, but Deadly Conviction is my first novel.
