Dr. Gordon has worked at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt Sinai for 44 years. He started as an Assistant Professor and now a full Professor. He received his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from SUNY at Stony Brook. In his job he does clinical diagnosis, research, both his own collaborative, has published approximately 250 peer reviewed publications, book chapters and books. His special areas of interest are lung, vascular and electron microscopy. This represents part of his work performing analytic analyses of human tissues for the presence of asbestos and talc on which he has published.
