The sensitive picture book shows how their final gifts change the course of others’ lives, and help their own families find meaning in their loss. This book was funded by The Sharing Network Foundation and was independently published by the author in order to provide the book at low cost to the family support departments of all organ and tissue procurement organizations in North America. The illustrator, Benjamin Hummel, is a two-time liver transplant recipient and teaches illustration at a Colorado college of fine arts.
