This book is a perfect example of showing Hip Hop being old enough to be shared from generation to generation. As a Father, Husband, Educator, and most of all "Hip Hop" I can see myself in this book. I can imagine children in classrooms and homes seeing images of themselves (in this book) and feeling the love, rhyme, and rhythm that is Hip Hop. The call and response that flows through the book makes group reading a participatory performance.
