Boar's Dad, Gus, is retired and in need of a hobby.  Boar's Mom is still working 40 hours a week, from home.  Around 2010 we went shopping for dog food and ended up with a stuffed chew toy for our dog.  We soon realized the stuff toy could talk!  When we began to tell Boar's Grandma stories about Boar and her siblings; Grandma encouraged us to write them down.

Boar Family Books started as a collection of 5 books, based upon true stories, but left to the reader's imagination for the details  The illustrations and stories are reminiscent of a simpler time.  This family is sure to warm your heart and leave you with a smile on your face. 

Each book is a stand-alone story which focuses on one of the three children and their school.  Together,  the books tell the charming stories of how Boar came to have a family, siblings, and a school with unique classmates. 

Books 6 and beyond begin the fun with the family and classmates you met in books 1-5.
