   Originally born in Germany, I have since relocated to Montana, a state whose nickname is "Big Sky Country". That works out just fine as I am a fine art photographer with a passion for skies. The skies above us are so beautiful. The clear crispness of a deep blue summer sky. The romantic rose and orange hues of an evening sky. The shapes and patterns of a cloudy sky. To mention just a few of the stunning skies out there.
   Too often though, we do not pay attention to the wonderful world above us, take it for granted. With my photographs as well as with my books, I aspire to give you reason to look at and to be inspired by the sky more often. I love to paint skyscapes with my camera and to learn about all the different sky phenomena. All this I share with you in my books. I hope you will enjoy reading and viewing them as much as I have enjoyed working on them.
