Rosalind Minett (writing name) enjoyed a career as a chartered psychologist, the last fourteen as an expert witness. After retiring, she has written short stories and novels: the paired collection of satirical short stories: Me-Time Tales and Curious Men; a set of crime short stories and an historical trilogy about a boyhood rivalry, set in the hard times of 1940s London. Her forthcoming novel, Uncommon Relations, explores the fraught interactions of wider family when young married man, Terry, unexpectedly meets the identical twin he never knew he had.
Rosalind prefers not to stay with one genre alone, but the inner life of her characters drives her plots whether she is writing humour, historical or crime. She relishes quirkiness, and loves creating complex characters of all ages.
She lives in the South West and spends her time writing, sculpting and painting. Her site is at http://rosalindminett.com
